Hi, I'm Jean.
A driving force.
I was once voted Most Enthusiastic.
My passion for meaningful work took root at an early age. As a kid, I ran a “vertically integrated” roadside stand where I helped grow, harvest, pack, and sell organic raspberries—a pop-up storefront on a busy road. This experience of connecting directly with people stayed with me, much like the joy I found as a Girl Scout, selling cookies door to door, eager to bring a little sweetness to as many homes as I could.
Summers found me in the barn, trading my work for time with horses. During that time, I also created a zine for the stable crew—writing, photographing, and publishing it using the local library’s copier. This project further fueled my entrepreneurial spirit. High school wasn’t my favorite, but I loved diving into event planning, from organizing to decorating and promoting.
These experiences perhaps primed me for embracing internships, where I excelled the most in college. My favorite out-of-classroom projects were in radio and records, where I discovered a behind-the-scenes world rich with concerts, tours, interviews, and public relations. I thrived in this environment, traveling, learning management, and expanding my network.
After a four-year stint in syndicated radio, my first and only corporate job, I ventured out to start a boutique services agency. It was here that I stumbled into the natural food industry, a space that now fuels my passion.
Motherhood and causes close to my heart have woven rich, meaningful threads into my life. Beyond championing better-for-us food, I’m deeply interested in web3 and our evolving economies and social structures—it's an exciting time to be alive!
My purpose is simple: to support and amplify agents of positive change. For me, it’s clear—we are one humanity, sharing one Earth. We must keep moving forward, but with greater care and intention, which is why I embrace a B Corp mentality in all that I do.
